This is an excerpt of our contribution to a much longer video about technologies that illuminate an oil reservoir’s makeup and characteristics. This technology allows engineers to plot the best course of action to retrieve the greatest amount of return.
We really enjoyed the two front approach of this piece. First, creating, tracking, and compositing graphics into the live action plates of the core samples. Second, creating the fully immersive journey through the rock itself. And if that wasn’t enough, this entire video was filmed, created, composited, and delivered in stereoscopic 3D. So this was all rendered and output twice.
